Armada Kami

In 2000 following our establishment, Lion Air proudly rolled out a fleet of just two Boeing 737-200 aircraft. Today, we have 118 -- including the Boeing 737-900ER, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737 MAX 8 and Airbus A330-300 -- to meet passenger demand.

Our fleet is one of the newest in the business, and we have taken the initiative to partner with internationally recognized organisations including OEMs (Boeing, Airbus, Honeywell), export credit agencies (EXIM, ECA), Banks (DBJ, BNP, Citi) and Lessors (GECAS, BOCA, Avolon) to improve our processes, including safety practices.

Ours is a high-capacity and largely uniform fleet that is also fuel-efficient and with an average age of just 6.73 years. Such a young fleet of predominantly Boeing 737 family aircraft delivers efficiencies, including low maintenance costs and operational reliability, which are a win-win for Lion Air and our passengers.

Our aircraft configurations maximise space and seat availability but with the onus on crating the very best on-board experience.

Today, 3/19/2014 at 7:00 P.M. I ordered the BC Racing Extreme Drop coilovers from Kami Speed. Something unexpected when choosing “extreme drop”, I was informed that it would take up to a week before they shipped, but I have no problem with that. Total cost, well you can see on their site is $995 and free shipping. I talked on the chat Billy Ono (yes there are two of them on there as brothers) but Billy was very helpful. Patience with me when I forgot to reply because I got distracted.

I’m continuing this review as times goes on instead of updating a post constantly. Today is 3/20/2014 and it’s 5:26 P.M. I got an email from Billy with a tracking number and saying my packaged ship. A lot quicker than the “up to a week” time frame I was given originally. Sent through USPS.

Disappointing day, today is 3/24/2014. The tracking number I previously got on the 20th wasn’t the coilovers, but in fact it was for another included item.

Alright, so it’s 6:12 P.M. on 3/25/2014. I just got another email from Kami Speed saying a package has been shipped with a UPS tracking number in it. When I click the link, this one says the weight is 60lbs so it should be the coilovers this time.

So, 3/27/2014. It was delivered by UPS at 3:45 p.m.

Overall, I am very satisfied with Kami Speed. I know as you read through it sounds like I wasn’t happy, but it was more of a misunderstanding on my part and I was not mislead. I just assumed with the first tracking number. I recommend Kami Speed completely and again Billy was very helpful.

Always excellent service. They've become my go-to for parts. They never missed a drop ship and it's always shipped quickly. They never give misleading JDM wait times like other vendors do.

What all vendors should strive to be

Was not expecting such an amazing service during a pandemic. Over the past few months, Kami has been the only vendor that has answer all my questions within a few days sometimes the same day. They are currently not offering phone service but during these times, it’s expected. Other larger vendors don’t even pickup their phones and don’t get back to you for at least a week. So it was refreshing to have genuine fast help. Bought both in stock and out of stock items and they all arrived within reasonable time, the in stock stuff within a few days. They get a 5 star from me for the fact that they list ETAs and whether or not they have something in stock. You guys have gained a customer for life. Thanks Kami!

Hands down best example of customer service

Hands down best example of customer service. My original order was out of stock so I was contacted and given 2 options for a replacement. One was even priced higher but was no extra cost for me. After getting help with the best fit for my car and rims I went with the the lugs that was a little less then the original. Refund difference was given that same day and shipping only took two days, CRAZY.

Hello Christian,

I'm sorry you feel this way. You emailed us on the 5th of August after hours (7:39pm PST) with the following: "Can I please return my items they sent me the wrong parts and I have both shipping".

We replied back on the 6th of August at 9:51am EST with the following: "Hi Christian, Can you send us a picture of the part numbers you received along with the label? I see you ordered x2 22002-AM009. Once we receive this we'll get the RMA approved to send back. Thank you!"

We've yet to receive a reply back with pictures or a reply at all to verify if we indeed sent you the wrong parts. If we did ship you the incorrect parts, we'll gladly get these return back for a full refund (label and all).

We just followed up with another email, so we can get this issue resolved. Thank you!
