Innate Spellcasting (1/Day). The cat can innately cast darkness, requiring no material components. Its innate spellcasting ability is Charisma.

Keen Smell. The cat has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

ACTIONS

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2 (1d4) slashing damage.

Shadow Pounce. When the cat is in dim light or darkness, it can use a bonus action to magically teleport up to 40 feet to an unoccupied space it can see that is also in dim light or darkness. It then has advantage on the first melee attack it makes before the end of its turn.

A common house cat at first glance. It isn't until they disappear into the shadows, only to seemingly reappear somewhere else that their true abilities are revealed.

Some say they're cats native to the Underdark. Some say they're cats that have been touched by the Shadowfell. Others say they're a fairy tale. Others still say they're not cats at all, but spies. Agents sent from realms unknown to gather information on the material plane. While people debate their origin, there is one thing is undeniable; there's an uncanny intelligence behind those glowing yellow eyes...

They're always watching, just out of sight, but who are they watching? And why?

(A more interesting cat. For fighting or friending, but probably not for familiar-ing. This is my first published creature and needs balancing/playtesting.)

  • Keen Senses. The snow cat has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight, hearing, or smell.
  • Stalker. If the snow cat surprises a creature and hits it with a bite attack, the target is grappled (escape DC 12) if it is a Medium or smaller creature.
  • Snow Camouflage. The snow cat has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide in snowy terrain.
  • Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) piercing damage.
  • Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) slashing damage.

With paws big enough to walk on top of fresh snow and senses sharp enough to hear or scent prey on windswept hills or steppes, the snow cats are superb hunters and fiercely independent.

These panther-sized cats have the features of a lynx, including the long fur at the tips of the ears, and they can hear a snowshoe hare hopping a hundred yards away.

Camouflage and Patience. A snow cat’s coat changes with the seasons and ranges from stark white to muddy brown. They are patient hunters, preferring to ambush prey from high places. Their typical prey includes everything from mice and rabbits to goats, sheep, and small pigs.

Friends to Small Folk. Gnomes and halflings have an affinity with these predatory animals, and it is common for several snow cats to serve as guards and scouts for a halfling village or a gnomish settlement. Stories of snow cats serving as mounts for small folk seem to have some truth to them, though this is rather uncommon.

Feeding Frenzy. Some snow cats enjoy working as a hunting pair or as a scout for a mountain druid or steppe ranger. However, they are extremely difficult to pull away from a kill. Once they have their teeth in something, they get very possessive and cannot be convinced to part with a carcass unless given some other food in exchange. In hills or forests, they often hide a recent kill up a tree or on a high ledge and return to it over several days to devour it all.

Keen Smell. The cat has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Pounce. If the cat moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the cat can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.

ACTIONS

Bite.Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) piercing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 minute. If a creature's saving throw fails by 5 or more, the creature is blinded and deafened while it is poisoned. An affected creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Claw.Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage.

The devil cat is a large feline with short, dark fur and a row of spines that stretches from its neck to the base of its tail. Its bite is quite poisonous, causing hallucinations that in some cases can completely sever the subject's view of reality, as what it sees and hears is so different from what is actually happening that it might as well be blind and deaf. Some scholars believe that devil cats were the result of magical attempts to combine snakes and tigers, a view reinforced by the presence of tiny scales scattered amongst the cat's fur.

Challenge 1 (200 XP)

  • Keen Smell. The temple cat has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.
  • Innate Spellcasting. The temple cat’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14, +6 to hit with spell attacks). The temple cat can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
  • Priestly Purr. When a cleric or paladin who worships Bastet spends an hour preparing spells while a Bastet temple cat is within 5 feet, that spellcaster can choose two 1st-level spells and one 2nd-level spell that they are able to cast and imbue them into the temple cat. The temple cat can cast these spells 1/day each without a verbal component. These spells are cast as if they were included in the temple cat’s Innate Spellcasting trait.
  • Multiattack. The temple cat makes one bite attack and one claws attack.
  • Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 6 (1d4 + 4) piercing damage.
  • Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d4 + 4) slashing damage.
  • Fascinating Lure. The temple cat purrs loudly, targeting a humanoid it can see within 30 feet that can hear the temple cat. The target must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed. While charmed by the temple cat, the target must move toward the cat at normal speed and try to pet it or pick it up. A charmed target repeats the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature’s saving throw is successful, the creature is immune to the temple cat’s Fascinating Lure for the next 24 hours. The temple cat has advantage on attack rolls against any creature petting or holding it.

A slim feline far larger than any house cat slips from the shadows.

Its coat glistens like ink as it chirps, and its tail flicks teasingly as its golden eyes observe the doings in its temple.

Bred for Magic. Temple cats of Bastet are thought by some to be outsiders, but they are a terrestrial breed, created by the priesthood through generations of enchantment.

Lazy Temple Pets. By day, temple cats laze about their shrines and porticos, searching out attention from the faithful and occasionally granting boons when it suits then.

Fierce Shrine Guardians. By night, they serve as guardians in their temples, inciting would-be thieves to come close before viciously mauling them. More than one would-be rogue has met his or her fate at the claws and teeth of these slim, black-furred beasts. Bastet temple cats are fierce enemies of temple dogs.

I Made My Cat Play D\u0026D

Now discussing:

And panties began to go down with her. At the same time, she realized that Edik began to unbutton the buttons on her blouse. Opening his blouse, he pulled the breasts out of the bra cups and began to squeeze them gently, kissing the girl on.
