Due to recent changes in CDC guidelines as well as the expiration of the statewide mask mandate, we have updated our salon policies. Our concern will continue to be for the comfort and safety of our clients as well as our staff. Because everyone has different circumstances, it is our goal to do our best to accommodate those as broadly as possible. We would like to give clients the ability to make their own choices as well as evolve with current guideline changes. With those goals in mind, we have decided to create a mask-only space for clients who are high risk, or concerned about receiving services without mask. We are asking all of our guests who would like to receive services in our mask-only space, to please notify the front desk of your preferences when booking. We will continue social distancing as well as extra cleaning/ disinfecting throughout the salon. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and will continue to closely follow guidelines as they evolve with current circumstances. Should any guests have further concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. #WeAreAllInThisTogether

Cara Berlin, an Ashevillian for more than 20 years, has deep roots here – friends, family, children – and now her beautiful salon, The Grey Rose, named for her daughters. After working in several of Asheville’s high-end salons, Cara opened The Grey Rose Salon in downtown Asheville, allowing her the freedom to create the atmosphere she believes a quality salon should offer – quiet, intimate, peaceful and relaxing! While Cara stays current on beauty trends, she prides herself on customizing those trends to work for her individual clients and tailoring them to everyday wear. She specializes in curly hair and women’s short hairstyles; pixie cuts are especially fun for her. Cara also offers her professional makeup skills for weddings and special events, and she even offers makeup lessons. Cara is passionate about color, including all over color, highlights, ombré, and balayage techniques. She uses Davines color, a natural hair product known for being almost completely sustainable and vegan. Other products available in Cara’s salon include DevaCurl, which sets the standard for styling, cutting, and coloring techniques for wavy and curly hair; and Rusk, which is especially great for styling short hair styles. Cara loves to be creative with her clients and is very present and focused on their needs. She asks many questions – one of them being, “What is the worst haircut you’ve ever had?” – so that she knows where her clients are coming from, helps them to be comfortable and open, and creates the best style for the individual sitting in her salon chair. Expect a fun and open environment at The Grey Rose Salon. Cara’s beauty philosophy is simple: “Hair is fun, of course, but it’s important to work with what you have and not fight it – embrace the beauty that exists and let’s bring it out!”

About Me:

Tamara Mizell was born in Mobile and received her degree in Cosmetology from Blue Cliff Career College in 2017. She was in banking for nine years before she decided she would take a leap of faith and follow her dreams of becoming a hairstylist. “Growing up, I had extremely unruly hair and I taught myself over the years how to manage it. This struggle gave me the heart to share what I’ve learned with other young girls and women with the same struggle. I love to help educate people on how to feel like their best selves!’ Tamara specializes in natural color and highlights. Her main role model in this industry has been Cara Hughes, who is her Master stylist In her Associate Training Program. Cara has led her through her ten month-long Associate Training Program, where she has trained with her to be a well-rounded stylist. “Cara has taught me what it looks like to be successful. She has taught me how to perfect my foiling technique, to genuinely care about the client’s wants and needs and to find the perfect balance between career and family.” Tamara has 3 children, two girls and a boy. She enjoys going to the beach, spa days, family fun days and living out her Faith. “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners, heal the brokenhearted and to recover sight to the blind.” Luke 4:18

Reviews of this stylist

“Cara is an excellent stylist and a very nice person. The best part of the entire process is the scalp massage and hot towel and hand and arm massage. It is sooo relaxing!”

-Harrilee S.   Naples, FL

“I was blown away with my experience with Cara at the salon. Coming from a stylist at another salon for 9 years, I was anxious to say the least. Cara listened to the look I wanted to achieve and offered suggestions as to how to get it. She understood how to cut my thick but very fine blonde hair and how to keep the ends from frizzing. It was a phenomenal experience and I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff, their friendliness and just making you feel like family! Cara has me as a customer for life. The best part is that my hair has never been in this good condition after having color. My hair is healthier from the mini keratin treatment that it has ever been.”

-Patty K.   Naples, FL

“Excellent, as always. My hair would never have reached the length and condition, I dreamt of .. but was not able to achieve. Had it not been for Kerry, Cara and the Davines products. I finally have the beautiful hair, I thought unachievable. Cara and Kerry are amazing. Cara is my colorist and gets it right, every single time. While maintaining the condition and integrity, of my hair. So I can achieve the length and look I love. If you’ve been struggling to find somebody who listens and cares and gives you the results you want. Look no further, your search ends here!”

-Holly R.   Naples, FL

“Cara is professional and precise. She really listens to what I want. She assessed my hair color and understood that I needed multiple colors of high lights! I love the result. It looks natural and not brassy! The Salon is chic but also comfortable! All the staff are friendly and courteous. They are all have a positive aura and appear to be having fun! So glad this is my salon and I am so appreciative of Cara!”

Cara Delevingne’s new shag haircut brings the hair trend into 2021

Way back in the before times – AKA pre-COVID – a new hair trend was blooming on the horizon: the shag haircut. Lead by the likes of Miley Cyrus, Zendaya, and Barbie Ferreira, the style harkened back to the 70s. Soon, it evolved into the modern mullet, a new obsession seemingly prompted by the likes of Tiger King’s Joe Exotic.

Well, now Cara Delevingne is making a case for the shag’s comeback, debuting a new style on her Instagram yesterday. Conceived by hairstylist Mara Roszak, she told Vogue about the inspiration for the new ‘do. “Cara has such great natural texture in her hair, and I knew a long soft shag would be perfect to enhance that texture,” she says. “I was inspired by this late 70s early 80s Fast Times skater babe, that feels so Cara. It’s got a real rocker/skater vibe while maintaining a natural softness.”

Fans of the model will also note that she lost her signature blonde locks, traded for a soft brunette, courtesy of colourist Jamie Levin. The new look was paired with a rainbow undereye liner look created by make-up artist Molly R Stern. With hairdressers and salons in the UK hopefully opening on April 12, there’s no doubt people waiting outside will be clutching print outs of Delevingne to copy.

How to make Harley Quinn - Toca Hair Salon 4

Not expected. He tells me that now I will never get away from him anywhere else, I understand that he is right, only he can make me an insane. Sex maniac or a gentle cat, a whore or a shy girl, only for him I am a seducer or a little girl, that's all as he wants. He takes out a new item and inserts it in my ass.

Now discussing:

After all, I love to torment you a little. My hands are walking over your body. They stroke your thighs, your tummy, Your waist and your sweet and beautiful breasts.
