Medieval Times is an exciting, family-friendly experience inspired by an 11th century feast and tournament. Guests are served a four-course banquet as they cheer for one of six knights competing in the joust and other tests of skill.

Expect almost two hours of jousting, swordsmanship, thrilling hand-to-hand combat, displays of extraordinary horsemanship and falconry as part of a riveting story set in Medieval Spain.

Medieval Times also features an excellent bar, gift shop, Hall of Arms displaying medieval artifacts and a Museum of Torture.

Medieval Times requires a photo ID for the purchase of alcohol. In the United States, guests must be a minimum of 21 years old. In Canada, guests must be a minimum of 19 years old.

Medieval Times’ noble guests feast on garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet buttered corn, herb-basted potatoes, dessert of the Castle, coffee and two rounds of select non-alcoholic beverages. How early should I arrive?

The Castle doors will open 60 minutes prior to the showtime printed on your tickets. Plan to arrive early; seating is first-come, first-served, and to obtain the best seats available you should arrive as early as possible. Many shows sell out, so it takes time to get everyone in efficiently and safely.  <b>Please Note:</b> During the tournament, you will be seated only with guests booked under the same reservation. Groups booked under different reservations will be seated a minimum of 6 feet away to maintain social distancing. Should your group size be larger than local seating restrictions allow, we will provide multiple seating sections adjacent to one another. 

Is it true that we must eat with our hands?

Absolutely! Eating utensils were not used in the 11th century and we take you back!

What is the dress code?

The dress is casual.

What is the policy for lap children under 3 years old?

Children under the age of 3 are admitted free as long as they sit on adults' laps and eat from their plate. If you prefer the child to have his or her own seat and meal then the child rate would apply.

Are visitors allowed to meet and greet the performers at Medieval Times?

Yes. Performers are available after the show for pictures and autographs after the show in the Hall of Arms.

Are cameras, audio, or video recording allowed at the show?

Yes. Guests are welcome to take photos and videos and can share their Castle experiences online

About Medieval Times

Surrender to an age of bravery and honor and witness epic battles of steel and steed while feasting on a meal fit for royalty. Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is North America’s longest running and most popular dinner attraction. Within the walls of the 11th Century Castle, you’ll witness incredible live jousting, sword fighting, and awe-inspiring skills as our six daring knights compete to be champion. Guests are seated in the castle’s climate controlled Grand Ceremonial Arena, where after being given colored crowns, you cheer for one of six knights who chivalrously vie for the honor of Queen’s Champion. During the show, you will be served a four-course King’s feast (garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, herb-basted potato) or a vegetarian meal (hummus with warm pita bread, carrot and celery sticks, 3 bean stew with fire-roasted tomatoes, and brown rice), dessert, coffee, and two rounds of select beverages. About Medieval Times Tickets

These tickets have no expiration date and include dinner and the show.

Adult ticket

Tickets are valid for individuals 13 years of age and up.

Child ticket

Tickets are valid for individuals 3-12 years of age.

The e-ticket that you receive will have redemption instructions. Vouchers can be upgraded to VIP tickets by contacting the venue over the phone or in person.

PLEASE NOTE: VIP ticket availability is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

About the Ticket Process

  • Your ticket purchase confirmation and ticket(s) will be emailed, but the process is not instantaneous. PEF MBP will manually process the tickets within 72 hours during normal business hours (Mon.–Thurs. from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m.–2 p.m.). Once tickets are purchased from PEF MBP, it will take approximately three (3) business days for an email ticket confirmation to become available from the vendor which is then forwarded on to the email address entered on the order.
  • Phone, online, and in-person orders placed after 2 p.m., Friday, or over the weekends, are processed within three (3) business days from the time the order is placed.
